Our dinner was great!

Wow! That apple pancake was sooooooooooooooooooooooo yuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmyyyyyyyyyy! Everyone ate it. You do not even need to put syrup on them. We had fruit with it and some sausage links. Oh, and ABC tator tots as hash browns. James gobbled those up. Next time I am doubling the recipe so I can have leftovers. After dinner we went to Burger King and got Icee's for $1. What a deal that is! It has been so hot they hit the spot.

Here is the recipe for the Apple Pancakes in case you would like to try them at your home.

4 eggs
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup butter
2 med. apples, thinly sliced
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Place 2 (9 inch) round layer pans in the oven. Beat eggs, flour, milk and slat in a small bowl for 1 min. Remove pans from oven. Place 2 TBS.butter in each pan, rotate pan and coat sides of pans. Arrange half the apples slices in each pan; divide evnely between pans. Mix sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle 2 TBS. of sugar mixture over batter in each pan. Bake uncovered untill puffed and golden, 20 -25 min.

Serve this piping hot from the oven. Serves 4

Let me know if you try this. I found this recipe on recipegoldmine.com . That is a great site that has tons of recipes on it. I have a link for it on the side bar. Happy cooking!
